It is necessary that your case be reviewed by the Bradley County Board of Education Discipline Review Committee. You will be notified as soon as a date and time is identified. At the hearing you have the right to cross-examine adverse witnesses and the right to testify and present witnesses and evidence on the student’s behalf. You are further advised that you have a right to legal counsel, if you desire. Following the hearing, you will be notified of the Review Committee’s decision. Upon receipt of this notification, you have the right, if you desire, to appeal to (1) Director of Schools; (2) Bradley County Board of Education. Because of this, your child’s suspension will revert back to a Zero-Tolerance (365 day) suspension.
