New Tech Coach Appointment System

BCS Technology is excited to be unveiling a new appointment system for the instructional technology coaches. With this new system, BCS employees will be able to request one or more of the coaches to assist with their edtech needs. The tech coaches are excited to be able to better serve teachers and administrators through a variety of training formats such as one-on-one, small/large group, and co-teaching.

With this move to an appointment system, the instructional technology coaches are also moving to specialize in specific programs. This will allow each tech coach to dive deeper into their specialty program so that they are better prepared to serve the BCS system when the need arises. If a teacher is struggling with understanding how to use a program such as Impero, the tech coach that specializes in that program will come to meet with that person. Now instead of each school only having one tech coach, they will have all six!

How to request an appointment with the instructional technology coaches:

  1. Visit www.bcstechnology.org and click on the “Tech Coach Help” link in the main menu bar.
  2. Click on the “New Ticket” button in the upper right corner of Help Center Page. You may have to choose “Instruction Technology Coach Request” from the pull-down menu.
  3. Fill out the short request form.
  4. Based on your need you will be contacted by one of the tech coaches.

Are you a teacher or administrator who is looking to learn more about edtech, but just not sure what all is out there? We have an exciting new resource for you: The BCS Tech Menu! This menu lists a number of potential topics to learn from our coaches and the menu will be updated with monthly specials. The Tech Menu can be accessed from the “Learn” link on the bcstechnology.org homepage plus we are making hard copies available in teacher planning rooms in every school!

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
