New Teacher Technology Training

On July 31 the BCS instructional technology coaches led an all-day technology training event for over 50 teachers that are new to the Bradley County school system. Elementary teachers met with Shelly Earls, Teresa Scoggins, and Colby Burris at Park View Elementary while secondary teachers met with Lisa Borders, Pam Coleman, and Donna Mitchell at Bradley Central High School. Throughout the day, a variety of topics were covered, including website management, Google fundamentals, and digital textbook accounts.

The tech coaches enjoy any opportunity to help educators learn more about technology in education. We are always looking for more ways to engage in professional development and encourage all teachers to reach out to us. You can schedule us to meet with you at a convenient time by filling out the tech coach help request form on http://www.bcstechnology.org. Looking for new ways to spice up your curriculum but not sure what you want? Then check out the BCS Technology Menu for a variety of suggested topics. If you don’t see something that fits your needs, then talk with a technology coach for further help. We are here to support you and your students in any way possible, so don’t be afraid to reach out!
